Excellent solution for external storage on a Samsung S8 with a case. This drive should work with most cases (Otterbox, Unicorn Beetle, ...). It is extremely small and very portable. There is an USB-C on one end and an USB-A (male) on the other end. The unit also comes with a convenient key ring holder. Very innovative design. Attached is a photo of the LEEF Bridge-C 32GB next to a Sandisk Cruzer 8GB drive.
First off... EXTREMELY disappointed because i bought this at best-buy, which turned out to be the not-so-best-buy because i spent $10 more there than I would have here, I just saw it and bought it. Then found out i could have got the 64GB version for the same price as the 32 i got at best buy which has me EXTREMELY bummed out now.I would have given this 4 stars due to my misfortune, but that would be unfair and should not affect the rating of a good product. Every other usb c drive did not look like they would fit in my phone without first removing the case currently protecting my phone, which would make it inconvenient... I am also in some pretty heavy denial with a strong on-set of buyers remorse... eventually though my future paychecks will turn my purchase into a faint echo. I'm sure the quality is good.
This would be a great device if it didn't erase the date photos were taken when you transfer them from your phone into the storage device and onto your computer. Instead, every single photo file has the date of the transfer on them. I keep the dates on my photos for a specific purpose and this renders this device completely useless for transferring photos, which was my main purpose in buying it. Also, when you go through to choose which photos to transfer, the only two options are to either "select all" or to go through and tick each one off individually. This is super tedious. There should be a way to select 10 or 20 out of all of your photos to transfer without having to go through and tick them off one by one. Even the process of ticking them off is annoying because you have to hold the file down for a few seconds in just the right way or it wont select it at all. I will be returning this device to get my money back and purchase something similar that doesn't erase date taken from photos.
We will be happy to hear your thoughts
